Year: 3rd year
Major/Minor: Marketing major and a minor in Retailing and Family, Youth, and Community Sciences
Home State: Florida
Semesters in FWIB: 5
Best lesson or resource from FWIB so far: The best resource FWIB provides is a group of like-minded individuals! There is no better support than having women around you who encourage your professional and personal development.
Other involvements: Retail Society and MS-Marketing Combined Degree Program
Past internships/study abroad: Administrative Internship with Terese Sydonna
Favorite hobby: Quality time with my friends and family!
Favorite class at UF: ENG2300 Film Analysis - I loved being challenged to think critically about one of my favorite hobbies: movies and film!
Tips: Don't be afraid to reach out for support from your peers. Networking with employers can be intimidating at first, but having a little encouragement from a buddy who can attend events with you can really boost your confidence and calm your nerves!
