PillarsPERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
By hosting workshops and interactive activities during meetings, we allow our members to grow and understand what it is like to be a woman in the corporate sector. COMMUNITY Every semester, various community service events are held throughout Gainesville in which our members interact with the elderly, endangered animals, children, and other service organizations. LEADERSHIP We expose our members to professionals and various networking opportunities by bringing in speakers from different companies, entrepreneurs and other leaders. GET INVOLVEDWhen you get involved with Florida Women in Business, you will meet women with similar interests, chat with girl bosses and professionals, have opportunities to figure out your passions, and meet amazing people!

Why We're DifferentWe aim to personalize every FWIB member's experience by providing a comfortable and supportive environment for anyone wanting to share their ideas or enhance their business and leadership skills. Our goals are implemented through regular meetings with professional guest-speakers, socials, community service events, and fundraisers. Students have the opportunity to connect with other Warrington peers, various alumni, and the Gainesville community.
CommitteesIn addition to becoming a FWIB member and attending general body meetings, you also have the opportunity to attend committee meetings in finance, marketing, or community service. These begin 15 minutes before our GBMs, and you are welcoming to join at any point throughout the year!
Mentorship ProgramIf you are seeking to become even more involved within our organization, you may also apply to our mentorship program as either a mentee or mentor. This will allow you to create a lasting connection with another FWIB member and learn from their experiences.
