What they hope to accomplish as chair: As Community Service chair, I hope to provide numerous opportunities for the members to learn about and engage with pressing societal issues during the meetings as well aid in executing a CS project during the semester where we are able to leave our mark in bettering society as FWIB. I hope to emphasize the importance and benefits of doing community service and as a whole, that we all are able to network with each other and other organizations while improving essential professional and life skills to accomplish our vision.
Favorite FWIB event/activity so far: Mentor-Mentee Friendship Bracelet-Making Social! I was able to meet so many amazing people and bond with my mentor!
